Mandatory: Prior coding practice. This could vary from an interesting academic project to cool stuff that you’ve done at work. The language and platform are unimportant. What we’re looking for is great aptitude for logic.

Zensational Lead
Experience: 2+ years
Mandatory: The following skills are a must:
- Hands-on experience on at least one web framework [Rails, Spring MVC, CakePHP etc]
- Hand-on experience on at least one ORM framework [ActiveRecord, Hibernate, iBatis etc]
- Hands-on experience in any of the popular JS frameworks [JQuery, Prototype, YUI etc]
- Excellent grasp of fundamental programming concepts such as Object Orientation and Abstraction.
- A never-say-die problem solving attitude.
- An obsession for maintaining clean code across all modules of your project.
- Leadership qualities. This includes the following:
- The ability to encourage and mentor your team
- Explain difficult to understand abstract technical concepts to your team
- A deep and genuine interest in keeping our customers happy
Preferred: If you have one or more of the following, we’d definitely pay more attention to you.
- A technical blog of your own
- A good network of friends who’re passionate about the software craft
- A burning desire to be part of a startup and to tackle difficult problems on a daily basis
- A keen interest in creating great user experiences
